Handheld times are not reflected on the all-time lists or records as they have been converted to fully automatic times.

Up until 1966 the 220 yards dash was run on a straightaway (“s”).  From 1967 to 1979 the 220 yards dash was run on a turn.  From 1980 the event changed to 200 meters on the turn. In the Frosh-Soph level up until 1973 the 180 yards dash was run on a straightaway, which times are no longer reflected. For conversion the 220 yards straightaway adds .5 to obtain the 220 yards on the turn.  Then the conversion of 220 yards times on the turn to 200 meters is the subtraction of .1.  Hand held times have added .24 of a second to convert to electronic timing.
