MT SAC 2.91 Mile Course and 3.1 Mile Course
Mount San Antonio College (MT. Sac.) cross country course is probably one of the most prestigious and toughest courses in the State. It hosts the CIF Southern Section cross country finals as well as the MT Sac Invitational. Prior to 1999 the course was 3 miles (known as the “Classic Course”). In 1999 the course was renovated to 2.91 miles (the “Renovated Course”). The subtraction of 18 seconds is the conversion of times from the Classic to Renovated course and is marked by a “c” for pre-1999 performances. The Mt Sac Rain Course of 2.91 miles is a flat course utilized on rain days begun in 2011. Prior to that there was a rain course that was 3.2 miles. There is also a Mt Sac 3.1 mile course used for the Footlocker West Regional.
